Like it or not, Spanish is here to stay (Literally “for the future”, but colloquially used as “to stay”). Instead of thinking it’s inconvenient, consider it an opportunity to learn a language that represents the other half of the Americas. Not only is it good to speak Spanish for travel, but it’s good for emergencies as well. The population of Latinos in North America is growing quickly, and especially if you live in the southern states, you’ll want to be able to communicate.
